Gain comfort feeding and managing of a herd of 60-70 pigs including brood stock. CSA Members purchase their “share” prior to the start of the growing season. This gives the farmer needed capital when they require it most. CSA funds are invested back into the farm by purchasing yearly inputs such as seeds, soil or amendments. In return for their investment, members receive the benefit of weekly produce pickups at the farm - the best that week has to offer! Here at Hart Farm, we want to ensure that our CSA Members find their experience convenient and enjoyable. We encourage our members to mingle during pickup hours, say hello to our pigs and cows, shop in our retail area or walk the gardens and HLT trail system. Included in each summer CSA share are u-pick produce options! CSA Members benefit from the flexibility of two on-farm pickup days: Friday, 1-6 and Saturday, 9-6. Members can choose their pickup days and times at their own discretion. This year, we are offering a 10-week Summer CSA and a 6-week Fall CSA. The Summer CSA runs June 19th/20th through September 4th/5th. Members can choose 10 out of the 12 weeks offered to collect their share. There is no pre-selection required; simply come on the weeks that work best for your schedule!
